The AI Revolution is here — and it’s moving faster than most people realize.
As a musician, I’m asking myself, “Will my music career survive? What can I do to thrive as a musician in the age of AI?”
I just watched Tom Bilyeu’s video “If You Don’t Have One of These Jobs by 2030… You’re Screwed.” He says:

Jobs that are repetitive and pattern-based will vanish.

What survives are roles that prove trust, empathy, dexterity, creativity, and humanity.
For musicians, that means:
– Stock tracks, background music, and purely technical teaching are most at risk.
– Soulful live performance, deep mentorship, and authentic artistry are hard to replace, and so will survive.
– Using AI as a support tool while doubling down on your proof of humanity — your soul, presence, and community — is the path to thrive.

In short: AI won’t kill ALL music. It will kill *mediocre* music and teaching.
The future belongs to those who adapt now.
