Excellent self-care is on the of the Six Pillars of Soulforce Artistry because when you’re doing really well, your art will shine and you’ll be an inspiration to those around you. If you don’t take care of yourself, your art and ability to be of service will both suffer.
Why is excellent self-care ultimately important? Because it will lead to greater Soulforce in your whole life as a performing artist — and the world *needs* your Soulforce right now!
Day 8 of 100 Days of Soulforce:
– The importance of excellent self-care
– The “Integral Model”: Physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual well-being ALL matter and affect one another
– The “Flow Genome Project Model”: Write down all the activities that bring you into a flow state and do more of them! Unsure where to look? Find things that inspire you, bring healing and release, and things that are enjoyable to do in groups.
– Why the world needs your Soulforce

What’s “100 Days of Soulforce”?
I’m embarking on a mission to spread the word about Soulforce Performing Arts because I believe it is a needed message for artists of all kinds in our times. To that end, I’m making 100 videos over the coming 100 days (or so) to explain all the different angles and ideas, and to hopefully spark inspiration in you! Each video will have inspirational and practical ideas for you to bring more Soulforce to your life as a performing artist.
These ideas are a part of my upcoming book: “Soulforce Performance Arts: Redefining Artistic Performance, Practice, and Pedagogy in a World That’s Lost Its Mind.” Subscribers to my newsletter will get early access and special perks!
