As performing artists, we *know* that what we do makes a difference – we touch the lives of many people through our performances and teaching. And yet, the story we get from our society is often that the arts don’t matter (what programs get cut first from schools, for instance?).
This story – the “Story of Separation” – is our civilization’s foundational myth and is what is driving the climate crisis, among other problems in the world. There is another story – the “Story of Interbeing” – which can be understood as “unity with individuality.” When we make art from a place of Interbeing, we undermine the Story of Separation and provide the greatest gift we can to a world in need.

What’s “100 Days of Soulforce”?
I’m embarking on a mission to spread the word about Soulforce Performing Arts because I believe it is a needed message for artists of all kinds in our times.
